Global Education GuideThe purpose of this website is to give resources to education stakeholders for empowering students to become global citizens as they achieve success.
Global education strengthens global competencies in students in order that they can meet the demands of the rapidly changing world in which they live. In 2014 and 2015, my professional development journey included fellowship in the Teachers for Global Classrooms program, funded by the U. S. State Department. This challenging experience involved 78 educators across the United States who researched global education and implemented it in their classrooms. Through a year of research including online education, a global education symposium, cultural immersion, blogging, international field experience and more, I completed a one year fellowship that has changed my perspectives and curriculum.
